The Kronos's CX3 synth actually offers more polyphony, at 200 notes compared to the OASYS's 172. The published figures do not tell the whole story, because the OASYS is affected by the use of power‑hungry effects, whereas Korg claim the Kronos is less susceptible to this.

I've had a Kronos 61 for about 6 months. I am a Korg workstation user since the M-1. I got the Kronos 61 and kept my Triton Studio 88 primarily because I prefere the Triton's weighted action over the RH3 and because of the reported RH3 problems on the Korg forums.4.5/5(17)

It's obvious from the various Kronos and Korg-related threads that opinions vary on the RH3 action, and that some Kronos owners got bad apples while the rest seem to be deliriously delighted with theirs. Aug 08, 2014 · The Korg Kronos is a versatile instruments which takes time to master. In time I will discover more quirks and find work-around or simply learn to live with them. My only concern is how committed Korg will be to develop and support the Kronos. Remember the Kronos was released in 2011, that is already 3 years ago.

Sep 30, 2017 · Current Korg offers some nice cheap synths, like the Volca series and some nice affordable analog synths, but they don't invest R&D money in new revolutionary digital technology anymore, like the former Korg Company under Tsutomu Katoh did, which is why we won't see any major Kronos updates or even a new OASYS-XY or whatever in the future.

Jul 19, 2014 · Even in the Korg forums there are tons of new users complaining about this. I just recently purchased a V-Synth GT and i was having fun with it from the first minute without ever having touched it. The Kronos was a torture for the first 3 months, and still is sometimes. Regardless, i think this discussion is kinda off topic.
