Kraftmaid has an awful quality and quality control problem. Unfortunately we decided to "upgrade" to KraftMaid cabinets when we ordered from Lowes. This has been a terrible experience, from late delivery by their shipper to multiple damaged cabinets (not damaged in shipping). We had to order one cabinet 3 times, and it still isn't right.2/5(192)

One of the problems for Kraftmaid is that since it is sold in both Lowes and The Home Depot those designers are often inexperienced and create designs that can have problems like yours. I would, however, advise KraftMaid that they should review their kiln drying process. I believe this may be the culprit on the door joints. Apr 19, 2006 · Kraftmaid has been good to replace doors and drawers, but we have to install them, etc. It is the cabinet boxes that are the problem. We have $25,000 worth of Kraftmaid product in our home.
