Feb 15, 2009 · I emailed a complaint to LAN, a MR Francisco Gomez responded apologizing and sent a copy of my original flight restrictions and said I could change my flight. On calling LAN again they again tell me that I cannot change my flight at all, even when I explained the email stating otherwise from Mr Gomez, they still refused to help me.

I travel to Chile and Argentina once a year for work and I have frequently bought tickets through LAN airlines. 7 of the 10 flights I have have been delayed, causing massive disruptions to my subsequent travel. LAN Airlines is hands down my favorite airline in South America. If you didn’t know LAN is based out of Chile and they have just begun a massive expansion strategy.. They have three affiliates; LAN Argentina, LAN Ecuador, and LAN Peru, that operate in those countries respectively.
