Purchased retractable screen storm door at Lowes and they installed it. The screen is very hard to open and now frayed on the right side. Checked with Lowes and unit is under warranty.

Anyway, I contacted Larson Door through there normal described methods for warranty service, and although it was somewhat tedious, I received reasonably prompt service for an item I purchased over 9 years ago.

Apr 10, 2015 · I have installed lots of Larson and Pella storm doors – I prefer Pella but the better Larsons (the ones in the price range you are looking at) are quality doors. I had a number of Pella’s that were not all glass go bad on me. The bottom panel corroded out. Looked for an all glass replacement storm door and bought a high end Larson.

The company does not hold up to their word on the warranty. They have to many issues with their storm doors.
