I urge everyone to stay away from Marriott Vacation Club – it is a fraud. When you try to change properties, they tell you it is “unavailable” – yet when you check directly with the property they have availablilty. When you ask for a supervisor, you are told “no one is available”. This is not a professional outfit, and should be avoided.

I forgot - if you have a Rewards number with Marriott that you got way before he "Vacation Club Ripoff" came into being, they will confiscate the points and freeze your account. They really are low-life's.

If you're thinking of buying Marriott Vacation Club Points - my advise is: DON'T!! The points are a bad deal no matter how you look at it. If foolish enough to buy directly from Marriott Vacation Club International (MVCI) you will be $13-14/point which, once you seal the deal, will only be worth, at most, $3.50-$4.00/point moments later.

Dec 25, 2014 · Marriott Vacation Club is selling vacation ownership in Grande Vista (Orlando) and misleading people with their Marriott Rewards Programme. Last June I was invited to take a look around their new resort (Grande Vista) and although it is a beautiful place it is not worth the hassle you get into when you buy a week or more.
