I own a 99 Mercury Cougar. It is a 2.5 Litre V6 with a 5-speed transmission. When I got her, she was wrecked on all of the body panels. Over 3500 dollars worth of damage.(according to estimates) The woman before me didnt want to fix it, so she sold it to me for 400 dollars. 98k miles on it. Runs perfect. It now has over 120K miles on her.Ratings: 55

Jul 09, 2006 · 2000 mercury cougar with 76,000 miles on it and the sunroof has failed completely. Took the car back to don thompson lincoln mercury and they made me aware that the sunroof was built with a plastic rail to open it, this plastic is to weak for the metal roof it holds and cannot sustain the weight.
