Investigating your complaint The Met

    If we need to look into your complaint in more detail, we’ll pass it to our Directorate of Professional Standards (DPS). They'll record it and contact you directly to explain the next steps. If you make a complaint to the Independent Office for Police Conduct (IOPC), they'll forward it to us. We’ll then look into it in the same way as above.
