Jan 09, 2009 · Installed the circuits for a new kitchen in a bungalow. Six months prior an NICEIC Approved (Approved lol) Contractor had installed a new CU. Before connecting up the new circuits I did the basic checks and found there was no bonding to the water or gas and so I said I couldn't proceed until these were done.

Jan 15, 2018 · if you complain to niceic, they will tell you to liase with the electrician to put right any faults. if he does. they're satisfied. if not, then you contact them again. could be a long-winded process. my best advice would be to ask the electrician (in a civilised manner) to correct anything that you're not happy with. by involving niceic, that could get his back up without helping your case ...

Mar 22, 2010 · A few months back, I hired an NICEIC/Part P electrician to rewire a flat I had bought and was refurbishing. The wiring was very old and needed an upgrade so I opted for a full rewire and new consumer unit etc. I rang both NICEIC and Part P and verified that he was fully registered with them.
