Feb 05, 2018 · The Ombudsman said it was an Openreach issue and they only dealt with complaints for ISP's, so try my MP. My MP raised a complaint to BT Executive Level Technical Complaints team and they basically said Openreach wouldn't change or upgrade the cable unless it was hard down/beyond repair and referred us to the deadlock letter.

BT Openreach also stated that other work was of a higher priority (i.e. easier to do!) and my work wouldn't be done until there was no high priority work to do in my area, Aberdeenshire. The Ombudsman has advised that he cannot influence Openreach and my complaint against Sky would not be pursued.

It is actually just called Openreach, not BT Openreach and they are accountable to OFCOM and all of their customers, i.e. Sky, TALK TALK, Orange, Virgin Media, BT Retail, etc. If you have had a missed appointment and want to make a complaint about it then you need to raise it with your service provider who in turn will raise it with Openreach.
