Aug 07, 2005 · After complaints from Onur Air, an independent research commission was set up to review the procedures followed by the Dutch IVW (Transportation inspection). The came to the conclusion that the IVW made the right decision by banning the Onur Air flights. Onur Air, and some other carriers, are however still under strict inspection.

Aug 06, 2006 · So, no complaints this year about Onur air. Last year, we were diverted to Istanbul for an hour or so, as one of the dials was faulty. Very old and rickety plane. As we were about to land, pilot told us that it might be a bit of a sharp landing as aircraft a bit big for Exeter airport.
