Jan 27, 2011 · I guess you didn't read the part about the OOIDA lawsuit against Landstar. I have all of my non trucking insurance through OOIDA (Bobtail, Undispatched deadhead and such) and they've been great about replacing windshields without question when I get a crack or a bad chip.

I even called the Manager Chuck Johnston of OOIDA Insurance "Commerical Truck Claims Management". He would not take my call. I was told that my Attorney would have to contact him. I have a bad experience with OOIDA. They are a racial Insurance company and ask the race before giving you an insurance quote and took them over two weeks to get a quote which was a joke as well. $8400 for a safe company and driver who only drove 40k miles last year safely with clean records.

That led to a rather interesting discussion on the ELD mandate that prompted my other thread. I told them that if I were to renew, they have 14 days to answer my question I posed to them.
