Jan 23, 2020 · Have been using Ooma since March of 2010 and couldn’t be more pleased with the product and service quality. Cut the cord with a Baby Bell in 2007 to go to Vonage and then took a gamble with Ooma which was not well known at the time. Have saved a lot of money and works as well or better than what I had with the Baby Bell and Vonage.

The evidence of quite a few failures of the Telo between 18 to 24 months told me purchasing the extended warranty was a good idea.

May 16, 2011 · OOMA Folk, I have seen a recurring theme in the forum that you have likely seen as well, but that I will highlight anyway. This theme is the poor ergonomic design of the handset in the eyes of (I hate to say it and don’t take this the wrong way), but “woman user”.

Placement of Ooma unit – since the Ooma is so bandwidth intensive, I highly recommend placing the Ooma unit between your ISP router and home router. So in order of devices, ISP router uplinks to the Ooma device, and the Ooma device uplinks to your home wired/wireless router.
