AldI parking eye. I was issued a PCN via the post to a fine of £70 but reduced to £40 if I paid within 28 days. They said I was 1 hour and 52 minutes at the car park ( limit is 1 hour and 30 mins) that is nearly two hours which rung alarm bells as I would never be there for that amount of time.

I have sent an appeal to parking eye and sent them the receipts of when i paid for the shopping 16.30 and asked them to review their CCTV/ANPR. It was only when I found the receipt that I knew that I was in the right. Proving I left there is more complicated. I will wait for response of parking eye , failing that I can appeal to POPLA.

PARKING EYE CANCELLED MY FINE. I emailed Riverwalk Durham through their website and they where very helpful. I received a letter from Parking Eye Solutions stating that my PCN has now been cancelled and that there is no charge oweing. Riverdale Durham (the office) can contact Parking Eye as they own / run the entire complex/shopping centre.

I know that nobody will be actively looking to deal with Parking Eye as it is a parking ticket company, however they have twice issued me with tickets which I have had to challenge because they were so hopelessly incorrect, and then had to sit and wait for a month until eventually I receive a letter simply saying 'the charge has been revoked'.
