Aug 05, 2010 · I get my general eye prescription from an optometrist not associated with Pearle Vision (they don't have one.) I then bring this prescription to Pearle and an "optician" or "contact lens fitter" takes that prescription and has to tweak it to match the parameters the manufacturers of the contacts make.
