Mar 25, 2014 · Last year P&O offered guarantee cabins under their Getaway fares. These were for certain cabin types and grades although the ones I looked at only showed availablilty of the lowest grade in the cabin type. Late Getaway fare cabins were usually allocated about 2 week before departure. P&O state "Guarantee cabins are available for this grade.

Oct 13, 2013 · Our TA where we get Cruise Miles does not offer P&O at all, only the others you mention including Fred O. We got a really good deal on first leg of world cruise in January. They will take a P&O booking if you ask, but told me it would be cheaper for me to book with P&O and then let the booking go to them so that I get my cruise miles.

They do not even allow past passenger discount on getaway fares. The whole concept is a con. As for Cunard being a "prestige brand" don't make me laugh.
