GM technical bulletin: 09203D: Front suspension lca ball joint bulletin this is a recurring problem with 2008-2009 Pontiac G8. GM hasn't issued a recall for this issue and its a safety issue. They released 4 revised control arms with better ball joints that needs replacing on all the G8.
