I just bought an older Priefert squeeze chute appox. 20 years old but is in really good shape that is manual or auto. It has a lever on one side with a spring on it that changes it from manual to auto but the head gate just moves side to side.

Jul 27, 2005 · My only complaint is on the door latch system. A dog could nose the latch up and open the door. This is easily solved by securing the latch to the side panel with a clasp. I do think the priefert latch is superior, but I really like my OP. 07-15-2005 ...

May 10, 2005 · Bought the smaller Priefert, worked fine, but was too small for our bulls. We bought the bigger Priefert and I love it. I can work the headgate and tailgate simultaneously. I can squeeze it up for the calves and smaller cows, and open it up for the bulls and larger cows, one hand operation. So I'm just saying, Priefert is my choice.
