Jan 25, 2014 · In October 2013 I paid around £ 450 for a Bomber Jacket to Proviation. I have written more than 20 e-mails and I've been getting promises that the order will be sent immediately etc etc but nothing ever happens. I am now thinking if I should pursue this legally as they are obviously pretty indifferent about cheating customers.

I believe that Proviation is a small family business and at times, they can get a bit maxed out by all the orders. Getting their attention over the refund was not easy but once actioned, I have no complaints whatsover - the refund was made promptly with good communication and sincere apologies.

May 10, 2013 · What's not so good is Proviations attitude that it is perfectly acceptable to ignore customer complaints for a week or more (or perhaps until the customer posts a complaint on PPRuNe?), or indeed, if we look at merret's first post..... 3 weeks or more.

Feb 10, 2014 · Well, not ideal but a look at the Trustpilot reviews shows 15 out of the latest 16 reviews are being investigated, followed by a one star drubbing. that would make me suspicious as a potential customer. A Google search shows the Proviation reviews and, rather fortunately only shows an abbreviated review....it says "Customers say 'Lies ...

Now I have to go back & fore from USA to make a complaint with the authorities (in Italy it works like this). Proviation also told me to complaint with financial ombudsman service. they told that a Consumer Credit Law should be applied but I'm a international customer and I guess UK law applies only UK... Let's see what happens...

The fact that this company opens itself up to independent review by Trust pilot is reassuring and illustrates a commitment to resolve problems . I will use Proviation again but will ring in advance to ensure items are deliverable in my required timeframe.

Eventually received email from Proviation MD offering me a discount, but was then too late, as I'd already ordered elsewhere, sigh. Still, a nice touch. Further problems: requested email confirmation of order cancellation, but never received any, and no sign of refund. Eventually had to open a Paypal complaint to get my money back.

E-mails are not responded to except by an automated service - It has taken multiple calls (10 -15) to actually speak to someone, who is then unable to provide any information on the order status.1/5(8)

Complaint / review / scam report Duty Free Depot No Refund I placed an order in December 2009 for 6 cartons of cigarettes, which I was advised would be sent in seperate cartons. I received the first one, no problem within about 2 weeks.
