Nov 03, 2019 · I used a QSC-GX7 (700 WPC) prior to the Yamaha. The variable fans could be heard across the room during quiet passages. There are plenty of threads re: swapping out noisy fans on pro amps. I saw none on Yamaha pro amp fans; most owners have never had them come on.

Oct 04, 2019 · To whomever asked the question,i am using a QSC GX7 to power the subs,I dont bridge and as was stated,u cant bridge those amps or run a 2 ohm load.Yes,i did measure 122 volts on my Radio Shack voltmeter with a brand new battery installed in it,i have the video on my phone,i will post it.

Nov 14, 2018 · They are heavy, but I've had zero complaints from any band I've mixed with this system. Even the newer SP2 and SP218's are really good for bands on a budget. The VSX26 processor helps a lot with making this system sound good. JBL, QSC, EV, and Yamaha all have some great powered speakers also. I own 2 K12 and 2 DSR 115 and they are great also.

I was hoping to utilize a cardioid set up there to prevent rear leakage and hopefully gain more "output before complaints" withing the building. There are currently 2 CV bass horns there now being run off a QSC GX7. I assume that a DCX2496 has enough processing.
