Feb 14, 2013 · After years of planning and saving, I finally got my Quadrafire 7100 zero clearance EPA fireplace installed. I have been heating with this unit exclusively all winter now. While this is an expensive unit, it was so worth it. I did the stone work myself...it was really easy.

Dec 22, 2016 · Quadra fire tells you not to leave ACC open unless starting, that is misleading. Depending on how hot your fire is, is it a new fire or do you just want a nice glowing roaring fire, the ACC is key.

Quadrafire wood stoves can be easily be called one of the most efficient wood burning stoves on the market. Back in the 80's there were plenty of wood stove manufacturers. I have 2 Quadra-Fire Mt Vernon AE stoves. Both of them lost their igniters at about 3 years of service. I purchased this product to replace them, and the replacements have performed perfectly for the last 2.5 years. They were very easy to install once i realized that you should spray the area with penetrant ( I used blaster ) to ease removal.
