It is easy to make a claim, they will look after you, But the premium jump of $98.00 from the previous year is just unexpectable, RACQ tells me it's an increment!!!! of $98.00.!!! The other day my girlfriends car wouldn't start, as I was at work she was forced to contact racq. Immediately the officer recommended a new battery, on the spot $185. I told my Girlfriend to keep the battery as it sounded fishy. Took it home, gave it a clean up with some boiling water.

Mar 21, 2017 · The manufacturer that makes NRMA batteries are also rebrands them for RACQ and probably the other roadside assistance providers. I had an NRMA battery in my old car for 7 years without a problem. Half the problems people have with old style batteries is that they don't maintain them.

Jun 28, 2009 · WOW!!!! Last time I went to K-mart and bought my own, $120, lugged the heavy bugger home and fitted it myself. Dont go getting marshall/lube/RACQ to fit the battery, sersiouly, it's a 10mm spanner for the battery clamp holding it in, a 10mm spanner for one of the terminals, and a 12mm spanner for the other terminal.
