Jul 25, 2013 · RCI response was to say that it was their prerogative to charge as required. This was the final issue for my mother, so she cancel her cruise payments with RCI (my mother's loss). RCI agreed to the cancellation and then proceed to charge her credit card one more time that day, making it three charges or payments for the month of January 2013!

When I needed to purchase a cruise, which I normally do on my own, I went through RCI and they were willing to give me $250.00 credit for my week in Cabo San Lucas - a five star resort. The cruise was the most expensive I have ever paid for and the mandatory cruise insurance is ridiculous.

At the time of purchase, June 2018, I was told I was purchasing a Cruise Certificate and a Week Resort Certificate which values were over $2500.00.

Feb 28, 2017 · In general if you see a property for rent and not for an exchange (at the same time) it means it is either inventory that didn't come from RCI members depositing and was specifically given to RCI to rent out or that property or that property or equivalent inventory was deposited by an rci member who chose to exchange for a cruise or other points partners (like air or car rental).
