I would not recommend this company to my enemies. If you are considering buying a time share make sure they are not affiliated with RCI. Marriott has a great program.

RCI now operates two different programs and which one you're part of is determined primarily by your resort's relationship with RCI. The RCI Weeks program is the more traditional arrangement you describe above -- you use your own week at your home resort, or deposit it with RCI for an exchange at another Weeks resort (assuming availability during the time(s) you want to go, etc....

I pay my membership fee, a platinum membership fee and am asked either to pay an exchange fee of £181 or £215 if I want to protect my points! I asked RCI to contact the resort to confirm that I would receive the unit that had been deposited as The RCI rep advised that this unit would not necessarily be the one I received.

Feb 28, 2017 · In general if you see a property for rent and not for an exchange (at the same time) it means it is either inventory that didn't come from RCI members depositing and was specifically given to RCI to rent out or that property or that property or equivalent inventory was deposited by an rci member who chose to exchange for a cruise or other points partners (like air or car rental).
