Dec 07, 2009 · The hospital made the decision while I was unconscious to have me taken by helicopter to Orlando Health. It was Rocky Mountain Holdings. My bill was $36,000 and Blue Cross & Blue Shield payed around $3,000. We did and appeal with BCBS but it did not help. Rocky Mountain dropped it down to $14,900 but we still owe $13,600.
