Aug 05, 2014 · Roof-A-Cide™ is the only EPA approved algaecide / fungicide specifically designed and approved for use on roofs. I don't know anything about roof-A-Cide and it may be an oustanding product but I've never used it. I do know that the EPA does not approve products or processes. If I'm incorrect, please fax me a copy of this statement from the EPA.

Jul 28, 2013 · from what I have seen, Roof a Cide is not a cleaner, it is a mold preventer. You have to clean the roof first, then apply it, but I think you can re-apply with out more cleaning. its sold as a franchise opportunity only from what I remember

They basically quote customers for the initial cleaning (surface cleaning the roof) and applying the "Roof-A-Cide". They guarantee it will last two years.
