I played RuneScape since 2008 and I enjoyed 2008 – 2011 the most. After EoC came out alot of people quit and complained that they want the old combat system back but jagex just ignored it and EoC destroyed the PvP aspect of the game and made everything easier (skilling).

Sep 20, 2019 · One of my big complaints about RS3 is how the entire game is just cluttered with cosmetics. It wasn't just EOC that turned the players away, so please take heed. I'd prefer leagues game and its rewards were kept completely separate from the main OSRS game. If people are after some kudos/status thing, we have the highscores.
