The holiday was sold to me as Saga plus holiday which actually means you get a cheap glass of wine with your dinner and a cup of tea or coffee afterwards. The rooms that Saga provide allegedly over look a garden but which infact is a building site with considerable noise from dawn to dusk.2.5/5(116)

The published complaints policy is that a reply will be made within 5 working days. What a joke - after near on three weeks have heard nothing from Saga so yet another complaint sent out. I am not holding my breath. I will now not renew either of our car insurance with Saga at next renewal date and would never use then for ANYTHING.3.8/5

Having spent a lot of time on the phone (both myself, my father and his travel agent), my suggestion that he goes a day early at the original flight time, with the extra legroom seats (essential for his wellbeing) and Saga arrange a taxi and hotel in Tokyo, has been met with yes we can do that but at a cost of over £700!!! This is all wrong!

Of note, Nordic Saga was able to get us good travel and accommodation rates, better than other companies who packaged travel and hotels together and called it "an independent tour", with rates that appeared to be about 10 to 20% higher than Nordic Saga. They also got us a better trans-atlantic flight rate than I could get booking on my own online.
