Jun 01, 2009 · The Schluter Shower Kit is tops and worth every penny, there is as much profit in using the kit as there is in casting mud. If the standard kit is too small for a desired shower floor simply place the kit and extend it with mud, it all gets covered with KERDI.

Aug 10, 2013 · Hi--Has anyone else had problems installing kerdi membrane over hardibacker in a shower stall? Even with wetting the hardibacker first, the unmodified thin-set mortar seems to dry so quickly that it is hard to get a good bond.

After 6 months of getting the run around from Schluter, the depression around the drain is about 1/4" deep and about half of the tiles have come up.
