May 30, 2008 · Sears refaced my old cabinets using inferior materials. Some of the cabinet doors fell off. I've contacted Sears several times to see if the could do something about it and they refused to fix the cabinets. The cost was $3,000.00 to do the cabinets. This was done by Sears Cainet Refacing (1-800-827-1718) in 1996.

The only good thing about sears home improvement is that they make a lot of money because they have good salesmen! I spent eleven thousand dollars on 8 windows and patio door and what I got was a not perfect fit window. My complaints so far has gone nowhere and I do not know how to fix this problem.1.5/5(74)

Although the work men did a fair job, the service reps who came out to look at the kitchen and put the plan together told my mom the remodeling would be done via finance home improvement company (I forget the name of the cimpany).Reviews: 19

Got our cabinets refaced by Sears in 2010 and we were so pleased. They looked so much better than they had. After 6 months or so one cabinet started peeling so I called the company and they told me v to clamp and glue it. This was a waste of time as the covering is too rigid once it peels.
