Upon further questioning, it turned out Ski Total only had a contact number for the coach company (which was not open at 4.15am!) but not the driver (and vice versa), ie no workable communication system in place, should something go wrong. Ski Total has said they will rectify this in future.

The problems all arose from the extremely difficult but not unexpected mountain weather, that seemd to stretch Ski Total's abilities. It emerged that it isn't a good idea to buy ski passes from Ski Total. If the lifts are closed in resort then you will struggle to obtain a refund from the Tignes lift company with a pass bought from Ski Total.

The breakfast and dinner at the chalet was also very good - with chef’s sticky toffee pudding being a triumph! I would have no hesitation in recommending this holiday to anyone and ski total as a great company. I have booked more ski total holidays than with any other holiday company which is a testament to a fantastic service.

If it wasn't for the hotel staff, food and the two days of great skiing we got, the holiday would have been completely ruined. The aftercare of ski total has been terrible and should be something they need to review and improve. Their rep should also be retrained.3.5/5(117)
