Jun 26, 2019 · Just tested one today at the Specialized Experience Center out here in Boulder. Great bike, rides very much like a Tarmac, just a super comfy one with clearance for 33m tires. Best road oriented bike on the market in my opinion.

Sep 29, 2018 · Looks like Specialized released on their website the new 2019 Tarmac - All disc brakes in non-S works models. All use the new SL6 frame set and go from 2700 to 6700. I was just about to buy a 2018 Tarmac Comp Disc (with SL5 frame), but ended up buying a demo 2017 demo Venge Disc Expert with carbon wheel upgrade instead.

Had originally settled on the specialized roubaix expert last year, never got it. I'm looking at the model this year, not excited about the future shock thing, although all the review I read are positive So I started to look at the tarmac. I liked the idea of having a faster, stiffer bike, that maybe I can dial down if I can't handle the geometry.
