I had the misfortune of visiting the Tangaroa Strawberry Farm on Saturday 12 Oct 2013. We arrived at the farm at 10:05am. They open at 9:00 am. I had to pay R30 per person (5 people of which two were kids under 5 years old). I asked the lady who took our money before I paid, whether or not they had strawberries in the field.

Tangaroa Strawberry Farm & Spa - wow these guys sound really classy - the perfect gift for my wife, right? Wrong!!! On Thursday the 09 August 2013, I contact Tangaroa to make a booking - "Sir, Karin is not here now - she handles the bookings - she will phone you right back within 20 minutes? " 4 hours later no phone call - so I phone back.

14 January 2020 . Strawberry Season has ended until September 2020 . Keep a look out on our website for updates... We are still open on the weekend for breakfasts, lunches and all the delicious goodies, order a picnic or bring along your own with your blanket, book & pillows and laze by our dam for the day!

Greta's guest house is beautiful and spacious with a spectacular view of the river. Its in a quiet place surrounded by nature so its very peaceful and you can enjoy the sounds of the birds chirping outside. We had a lovely time. Only complaint: We stayed Thursday till Sunday and were told someone would clean on Friday and Saturday but no one came.
