Feb 10, 2018 · I have been a Tesco Opticians customer for a number of years and had both contact lenses and glasses from them. About a year ago we took our then 7 y/o son to have his eyes tested and were told that he needed glasses for reading the board at school and watching television.

This was a repeat visit to the opticians at Tesco Inshes, Inverness as I had a positive experience on my last test 2 years ago. I was greeted promptly by the optical assistant and waited only a few minutes till the preliminary tests were done, then a few minutes further wait for the optician. I was amazed to find that the eye test was free, and even more satisfied to learn I could have 2 pairs of prescription glasses for just over £80, knowing other places changed much more.

When I went to the Tesco Opticians page , it told me to select from one of the stores which included Tesco extra, vision express etc. Vision express being nearer to my home I selected my preference there. Only after the eye test they told me that the vision express at the Tesco store is only free.

Tesco still sell 10p carrier bags (which use more plastic than 10 standard carriers) and a look round their store shows examples like bananas packaged in plastic. The UK produces less than 1% of the world's pollution so Tesco are misguided & discriminatory for not allowing their disabled customers bags.

Dec 03, 2006 · Thank you for this website. I have emailed a complaint to Terry Leahy complaining about the Tesco Value tin tomatoes only having 2 tomatoes and loads of juice. No value in that! Rip off shop. Last year my mom had an incident at Tesco opticians where the optician caused chemical burn to her eye. She had to go to hospital for treatment.

I picked a rimless pair myself and was looking for a second pair. I usually pick thin and delicate frames, but the advisor picked up chunky plastic frame.
