We have just returned from the Gold Coast and an exhausting and negative experience with The Holiday Club. Beware of sweet young women offering free scratch and win! In " relaxed holiday mode" we agreed to the scratch and win card. Next came the promise of "only" 90 minutes presentation and no obligation to buy.

I also scratched a scratchie yesterday, at the gold coast markets and got 3 Pots which means the gold prize of either, $2000 cash / Holiday / LCD TV (harvey norman voucher for $1000). We decided to risk paying the $20 and booked in next weekend for the 90min presentation. At first i was excited, but then i started thinking...

And of course after 3hours of high pressure sales we won the holiday, but wait ! there are conditions attached, the holiday is for accomodation only, have to leave and arrive at destination on a Saturday, pay an admin fee of 69 Euros when booking, and attend another 90 min presentation whilst there.
