I saw it actually go to the "UNREGISTERED SIM" message. I called Tracfone Customer Service the first time, telling them the bizarre thing that had just happened. The rep said they would immediately reactivate the phone within 24 hours. The phone was never reactivated. I called Tracfone again.

Agree with George 100%: I have had a TracFone (LG420G) for 10 months now and have NEVER been able to complete a call: If a call does goes through, it is dropped/lost in less than a 30 seconds. This happens in every area I try it in (yes, even while the signal strength indicator is all 'bars'), and while I am not moving around (such as driving).
