I have filed complaints with the Better Business Bureau, the Pennsylvania and Missouri Attorneys General and every other consumer protection agency I can find. If you choose to travel using Gate 1 I would be sure to read all the many pages of fine print. Do not assume anything they will take you payment and refund nothing.

A lot of these complaints seem to be about losing deposits or not getting money for cancellation - this is pretty standard in the industry I think. I don’t buy insurance with Gate 1, but I do make sure I have really good insurance with my credit card, personal travel insurance through a couple providers as well.2.8/5(178)
