Unfortunately there was a medical emergency and the trip had to be cut short. We attempted to cancel our tour before Viator's stated 24hour cancellation window, but were unable to. Reason given by Viator was that the tour operator had their own cancellation policy that would not allow us to cancel the tour.

I have a major problem with Viator. I had been booked on 4 of their tours in Naples, Italy for 15-18 May 2018. I unfortunately had to cancel these tours as I developed bronchitis and middle ear infection in both ears and my Doctor had declared me unfit to travel as it is dangerous to my health.

We have used Viator for years and never had a problem before. Really disappointed. We did get a partial credit from Viator and appreciate it.
