VicRoads does not have the authority to insist the original licensed vehicle tester resolve the issue or provide compensation. This is a matter for civil action (VCAT).

Dec 06, 2011 · A hole in the muffler and a few broken bumper clips, I couldn't really think of any more insignificant things to fail a roadworthy on. I wouldn't bother reporting anyone, they are going to send your complaint straight to the bin at vicroads.

Feb 01, 2018 · It may only need to cover 3 areas: tube ( welding and connection) for the mount bracket, brake modification ( correct longer hose used) and handlebar height. All very easy to check if its supposed to be self certifiable ( which means should be low cost). Once you have one, and registered the modification with VicRoads all future problems solved.
