VISA Enhancement Services offers reimbursement of losses due to rental car damages, among other things. If you read the brochure, you'll see their coverages, but buried in their fine print is a clause that you must contact them within 20 days of the incident, or your claim will be denied.

I later found out the documents were suppose to go to Visa Enhancement Services. Proof of my sending in the papers within 90 days is entered on Card Member Services computers. Enhancement Services turned down my claim because the papers were not sent to them within the 90 days when proof is there on their licensee's computer.

Review: This complaint is in regard to claim number 2019711383 and involves the theft of my iPad. The incident occurred on 12/22/2012 and a claim was filed with Visa Enhancement Services. Since then, I have not heard anything regarding the status of my claim other than they are working on it.

Complaint / review text: I contacted Visa Enhancement Services again today to inquire about my claim. Under my credit card agreement, Visa says it will cover costs for damages to rental cars not covered by your insurance (your deductible in most cases).
