Jun 22, 2019 · Although your situation is clearly terrible, how could you expect VRBO, which is only an advertising company, to solve your problem? It was the owner and/or rental manager who screwed you. They should should have stopped advertising on VRBO while the home was for sale, or disclosed that reality in your contract.

Mar 10, 2016 · With this listing, VRBO or Homeaway does NOT do the booking because there is nothing set up by the owner for payment etc. (i.e. you book directly with the owner even though VRBO warns you that booking directly with the owner may not be safe) My VRBO listing (901094) was made this way to avoid surprise hidden VRBO guest fees.
