Oct 30, 2019 · Upon contacting Walmart to find out the reason they closed my account/card Walmart stated they closed my account due to poor credit history and poor credit score. Makes no sense why they would give me the card with a low score and then take away when score greatly improved as well as was a great account holder.

Jan 11, 2020 · I applied for a Walmart Credit Card in March 2019, and was approved for a Walmart Mastercard with an $800 credit limit. Used it for gas and a few Walmart.com purchases, paid it off when the bill was due, and then recieved an email telling me my credit limit was increased to $1200. Continued to use it responsibly and pay it off.
