Wamu credit card closed my account despite it being almost paid off and without proper notification. They claimed that i was notified by mail, upon contacting their reps on the phone they were rude and insulting to me and hung-up twice...a rep by name ??sadie and another savia respectively hung up on me.

Aug 21, 2007 · I wish I could pay off my balances so I could be rid of my Wamu credit cards. If I knew better I would not have activated those cards. You live and you learn. Amex is a good card. They have been so polite and understanding about my late payments. And I do not get charged horrendous fees.
