It's the same for resort and hotel stays. Going through the actual company and even third party companies like priceline and hotwire were priced lower than Westgate Cruise & Travel. We have been regretting our purchase since then but are stuck with our unit. Long story short, we were recently contacted by a new branch of Westgate called Westgate Cruise and Travel Collection.

Dec 20, 2011 · The service was excellent. We have booked a cruise for the Carribean for June of this year and recieved an additional $500 off of our cruise using our travel credits. I also have read many of the complaints about Westgate, but they all seem to be from people who took timeshare tours and weren't happy with the way they were treated.

Dec 24, 2018 · I spoke with Westgate Cruise and travel and they don't want to reverse the transaction of the deposit. I also spoke to Westgate resorts my timeshare owners they said it is a process which can be done but Westgate cruise and travel must release the deposit back to Westgate resorts which are basically the same company but with two separate entities.
