Westgate owner beware. I’ve been an owner for Westgate in Orlando for the past 5 years and I’ve visit many Westgate resorts in the past. Westgate Myrtle Beach is by far the worst of the Westgate chain. I was place in the motel side of the facility where it was worst than Motel 6. The room smelled like a wet dog and the carpet was dirty.5/5

Westgate pressured me into a timeshare in 2018. My wife was with me and during the presentation she fell sick and had to go and lay down. She did not sign the timeshare contract even though they told us she had to because it was a community property state.i was told that I wouldn’t have any maintenance fees until 2020, but two months after our visit I had a maintenance bill for around $1200.

Purchased Westgate Travel Club in April of 2011. We stayed at Westgate Flamingo Bay in Las Vegas December 2011. The property was beautifully maintained and the service was very friendly. We also used Westgate Cruise and Travel to book our airfare with the customer service representative over the phone. The service was excellent.
