Westjet cancels your flights without even notifying you and just treat you with no respect, they push you around and expect you to just accept their awful behavior. They have no respect for minors, and the only way to get anything is to spend hours on the phone with them or arguing with them.

Most Recent Customer Complaint. Westjet gave my seat to someone else I purchased a ticket for WPG to Vancouver and paid extra for advance seat selection. I chose seat 14D which is an exit row aisle seat. I have the email confirmation and the boarding pass for that seat and that flight.

westjet obviously doesn't care about customer service -they are only looking at their bottom line. Their business model may be successful if enough people only consider the cheapest flight. God help you if a flight is cancelled or you have to change something because then you are at their mercy which judging by all the complaints - isn't much.

Poor customer service. I booked a flight from google search. When directed to airline website the date changed and I purchased it without noticing the change. I contacted westjet and they were not able to change the date without forfeiting my first flight because I purchased a basic fare. Excellent customer service hotline. 2/2 times I was connected to their Customer Services team within 2-3 minutes and given very helpful advice about my upcoming flight. By contrast, contacting Customer Services for Air Canada consistently had wait times of 45-90 minutes.
