WIMACTEL, Inc. There were charges on my AT&T bill from WIMACTEL for $103.79. I called their customer Service and was told it was for 2 calls, one for 19 minutes and one for 10 minutes. Our son calls us collect from this phone, we accept the call, hang up and call him back. The calls shouldn't have been charged for more than one minute.

I made ten phone calls from the lobby of my hotel in Kitchener-Waterloo, the calls lasting approximately 5 minutes each, and the bill on my credit card amounted to approximately $220. I phoned WiMacTel to complain and found myself in an absurd negotiation. The rep from the company initially offered a 10% refund. I replied that the bill was still exorbitant, so he offered 20%.

That's exactly what we did -- immediatly filed a complaint with our credit card company and the FCC. PLEASE don't just gripe on these sites -- do something about it.
