Aug 08, 2011 · Then 5000 - 800 = 4200. 4200/6 = 700. And finally 800 + 700 = 1500 ppm in your crankcase. That is comparable to the level in Redline Oil. I woudl go half bottle of Rislone in the crankcase which would be 4200/12 = 350 and 800 +350 = 1150 ppm, which is comparable to the old SL rated oil zddp levels.

Aug 09, 2014 · I've been running 10W30 Valvoloine conventional motor oil. I just thought it wouldn't hurt to add an additive for the zddp to it. (Zinc) I checked out the GM EOS additive and it has the ZDDP in it. I checked on Justice Brothers, and they say they have a ZDDP replacement in it that gets into the metal of the engine and evaporates later on.
