May 03, 2011 · May 5, 2010 Description of the Complaint: Our 2010 automatic ford focus demonstrated problems with shifting gears at about 7,000 miles. Once the car is warmed up it will not smoothly shift. This occurs while driving between 10-60 mph, and demonstrates major jerking when it finally does shift, with revving/increased rpms.

The outcome of these 2 major problems is that the Ford company is not owning up to these issues therefore no recalls have been done on the Ford Focus. These issues seems to be from 2004 - 2012. Not real sure but I believe it is affecting consumers up to a decade of manufacturing these defects in the Ford Focus.
