Dec 25, 2013 · Now I'm a firm believer in getting what you pay for, however, I can't ignore 440 source at that much savings. When 440 source first came out with their heads a few years back, there was a lot of mixed reviews of poor quality. I've searched on several forums, as well as google. Most reviews I've found are very dated.

There's no sense of right or wrong anymore. It's about legality, I kept it longer than the warranty period sitting in a garage while my STEALTH heads were being machined!! I drilled a hole in it for an oil pump I bought from 440 Source. they sell me a defective piece of crap and wash their hands of it!! I am done with 440 Source!!

I would love to know how many sets of heads you have done any port work on and if you infact have even ran your fingers around a 440 source intake runner to feel what shape they are. I have seen the crap that goes on in Moparts. It is all a load of crap over there. All i see is "if it aint American made, i would not buy it" time to wake up people.

Nov 12, 2005 · i noticed that the adjustment screws and lock nuts were the only things that did not resemble the comp cams roller rockers. glad that they are offering free upgrades. if you do a search and bring up the comp cams and the 440source parts they are virtually identical to each other except for the little comp cams logo inside on the top of the rocker and the set screws.

Dec 22, 2016 · I went with the 440 source heads primarily for price (mucho less than Edelbrock's) before Trick Flow's came out. I've had decent luck with the sbc Trick Flows on some of my Brand "C" engines. MOPAR swap meet at the state fairgrounds had KG Engines there with heads they had cnc ported. I talked with the machinist that does them.
