I have never missed a payment or paid late and yet my interest rate jumped from 15% to 36.18% this month ( Jan 2009 ) I have a min payment of $427.00 due to the increase and have no idea how to pay this.

Oct 10, 2008 · Count me in. Advanta canceled my business account and jacked up my APR to over 30% for no good reason. They also tried the run the late payment scam on me. Apparently, they stopped accepting electronic payments so my bank, through bill pay, sends them a check every month.
